History

Starting out supporting oil companies in 2010, Global IT Technologies was officially founded in 2017 to serve clients across other industries as well. Global IT Technologies' core focus is on providing services and procuring electronic equipment, while also supporting its "Green Earth" initiative by refurbishing outdated computers for use by students and elderly people.

Transition Period

In 2022, Global IT Technologies began strategic negotiations with CTI-ASIA, a Singapore–Taiwan company with more than 20 years of experience in industrial equipment manufacturing and project delivery. These negotiations aimed to bring CTI-ASIA on board as a shareholder of Global IT Technologies, strengthening its expertise in IoT and its manufacturing capabilities. In 2024, CTI-ASIA became a shareholder of Global IT Technologies.

Present Day

Today, Global IT Technologies' team serves clients across the EU, MENA, LATAM, and Central Asia. For strategic geopolitical reasons, Global IT Technologies works with partner factories operating SMT production lines in China and Taiwan, and production lines are expected to open in Kazakhstan as early as 2026. Our portfolio includes modular and embedded boards, video arrays and automation solutions, and offerings for the semiconductor, financial, media, and public sectors.

SMT & SKD Manufacturing

Our PCBA design team has developed numerous unique boards that serve as the foundation for a wide range of electronic subsystems. Typically, a prospective client already has a printed circuit board and wants to efficiently add new functionality to it. Alternatively, a client describes the required functionality for a subsystem or main system, based on which we design a printed circuit board that meets those requirements. Design and development time depends on the level of complexity, the number of features, and the availability of raw components, and can range from two weeks to six months.

Projects

Deck Control Device

A new Deck Control Device (DCD) used to manage unmanned aircraft refueling. The working group included Global IT Technologies staff and partners.

Unmanned aircraft refueling is the first carrier-based operational unmanned aviation capability of its kind. The remotely operated, operator-worn DCD was successfully tested during a multi-day demonstration.

The demonstration was conducted ahead of upcoming sea trials in the coming months.

Portable Telecommunications

A client required a telecommunications system that was rugged, backdoor-free, low-power, and portable. We were engaged to propose an OS-independent, programmable processor module capable of withstanding a wide temperature range.

Together with our partners, we designed and delivered a custom module to meet these requirements. Since 2019, more than 16,000 modules have been deployed and remain in use today.

Civil Defense

A client needed a system to protect critical and vulnerable infrastructure from commercial drones. To provide the industrial electronic hardware forming the basis of this system, a Global IT Technologies team member was brought on board.

Working alongside our overseas partners, we delivered hardware specifically adapted for this application. Combined with the prime contractor's proprietary software, the system successfully passed proof of concept (PoC) and has since been deployed at key sites throughout the country.

Land & Agricultural Research

A project was launched using drones flying over large plantations to transmit real-time data to a central system on the health and lifespan of forest trees, plantations, and crops, as well as geo-terrain information. A Global IT Technologies team member was once again engaged to develop the drone hardware needed to apply edge computing technologies to this project.

We supplied the drone with fast x86 processing hardware acting as its central nervous system, using an encrypted communication protocol to transmit data to the central system that integrated our solution. The project successfully passed the prototyping and proof-of-concept (PoC) stages. Since then, additional sets of drones and central systems have been developed and deployed.

Medical AI Blood Analysis Device

An institute required support in developing a ready-to-use computer board, with attention to CE compliance, long-term availability, and cost efficiency. Global IT Technologies staff and our partners modified a commercial ARM-based SBC (Single Board Computer), carried it through the certification process, and provided all the necessary pre-compliance documentation.

We responded quickly to the institute's needs and delivered a cost-effective solution. Together with our partners, we worked rapidly to redesign the board to meet certification requirements.

Maritime Navigation

A leading company in the design and manufacture of marine systems approached the Global IT Technologies team to develop a solution for a central control panel computer that would provide precise GPS-based marine charting, as well as support the connection of devices such as echo sounders, radar, and laser sensors.

The team (the lead company, us, and our partners) evaluated the board design, developed an Android BSP and multi-OS environment at the client's request, customized parts of the hardware to order, and brought the product to market in 5 months.

Metro Information System

An international company specializing in electronic systems for metro and rail transport approached the Global IT Technologies team to develop a modular solution meeting several requirements for the latest version of a metro passenger information system.

We delivered Arm- and x86-based solutions compliant with rail industry standards, including a Linux BSP.

Legacy Data Center Upgrade

An international online gaming company needed to extend the service life of its data centers and numerous workstations rather than incur significant costs purchasing new hardware. We were engaged for this project.

Together with our partners, we upgraded the memory of servers and workstations that were no longer in commercial production. We also upgraded networking equipment and software with built-in cybersecurity features to improve the internal network (intranet) and internet bandwidth.

Data Centers and AI Farms

A client planned to build data centers and AI farms for computing and data rendering. The selected contractor approached the Global IT Technologies team for help delivering and implementing the project on a turnkey basis.

We carried out this project together with our partners, ensuring the integration of all hardware and components while guaranteeing security, geographic resilience, and availability using a "triple gold-trap" approach. The project required the involvement of several major suppliers and substantial logistical expertise. It was successfully completed in a very short timeframe, jointly managed by the selected contractor and our team.

3D Imaging System

With the future of virtual-reality-enabled commerce in mind, the project called for a system capable of capturing images of an object across 360 degrees horizontally and 230 degrees vertically. All images are processed to produce a precise 3D image of the object with depth. The system consists of 12 arch-shaped towers, each 6 meters tall and equipped with 16 4K cameras.

We delivered cost-effective edge computing hardware together with a data-acquisition server as a single system. The system successfully passed proof of concept (PoC), and since 2019, 12 systems have been deployed with tower sizes ranging from 3 to 24 meters.

Neural Network in Oncology (Tomography, Mammography, AI)

The task was to deploy a system for fast and effective cancer diagnosis through mass screening, and the prime contractor engaged a Global IT Technologies team member to help with equipment procurement and installation.

The project successfully passed proof of concept (PoC) and is ongoing.
